The Inverse Law of Blogging
Is not that it’s in rhyme,
But, ‘More the news for flogging,
The less you have the time.’
Past weeks have been quite frantic
With lots of pics and stuff:
But time to post each antic
Has never been enough.
The Silly Season parties,
And final school-type things
Geeves blogging jus’ no start; ees
The time, she has growed wings!
I always thought that the silly season was spring, but then I’m not the sharpest knife in the block.
Up here in the Southern Hemisphere, we’re officially in summer (in Australia we don’t care about the equinox & solstice nonsense we set the date for our seasons) and it’s getting hot which means the silly will turn into stupid.
Love the poem 😀

Moi aussi. We live in the wrong hemisphere, friend. As the run up to Christmas starts, there’s also any number of spring/summer events taking place: food fairs, craft beer fests, cultural festivals…
And we had an unseasonably warm and sunny November, so no excuse for not getting outside and tending to the garden.

Something I can’t understand, though, is how the days can get longer while the available time gets shorter?

Exactly what I have felt these past weeks. Enjoy all the year end concerts and festivities.
