See Sea Crop Circles by Poisonous Delish Dish.

See this and be amazed; the puffer fish is never fazed

When looking for a mate, a pattern-making course he’ll skate,

And types of puffer fish can form a most expensive dish,

Though poisonous as hell, some chefs are trained to cook them well,

But they still get them wrong; for diner, then, a sad swan-song …

Indulging in this fad are Japanese, completely mad!

Sand sculptures. The artist asks for a donation to photograph them.

By way of contrast, this is what humans do with sand on Durban’s beachfront, only they are luring tourists rather than a mate.

      • I was left in awe, I wondered how in sea (can’t really say on earth) the female fish could see this as we saw it, and know that it was for her benefit.
Nature is a marvelous wonderful thing. and for once we see something that doesn’t come from that great delightful man David Attenborough, who deserved being raised to the nobility moreso than his brother Dickie.

The female sees it from the same perspective through the clear water and her skill is that of an art critic. The dedication to produce such perfect work without rest over a whole week marks the male as a fitting father for the offspring. Just as with nest inspection or decorative displays by some birds.
          Agreed re David and Richard.

          • His friends called him Dickie. I wonder why 👿
And we think of fish as being brainless sort of creatures, Yet if they can do such magnificent work as this, hell I wouldn’t know where to start. Who’s the brainless now 😦

Come to think of it, there are similar artists in the bird kingdom. Think of what a weaver bird produces.
