Launchplace for Fantasy Worlds

My Place in the World is, as visitors may have noticed, in a little city called Durban set on the southeast coast of Africa. Naturally, I have a wealth of choice when it comes to pictures of that area but it is probably appropriate to confine them to yet another set taken from the actual home site — in fact, I launched myself out of the cottage to do so.

I am still constructing the Jungle Gym, but the high platform with its flagpole gives a good photo viewsite.

The view back towards the house and garage/flatlet inland.

The sea view; enough to show a bit of coastline.

  1. How lovely and such a beautiful ‘place’. I love my place but I confess to a little sea envy here.

  2. The jungle gym looks like a lot of fun. Do you play on it all day when you’re not on the beach? 🙂
