Cheap Holiday

The selection of words for this week’s Wordle effort, given my aim of adding fewest words, using the words in order, and creating a rhyme with some sort of sense (although sense is not important), is utterly fiendish. Cruel. Sadistic. Well, I’ve done what I could with it …

Sweetheart and I would pass time
At the lake near the sign against crime;
Needles of pines under quilt that we travel with;
Took picture at staircase just to unravel with —
The hotel didn’t boast of a lift;
No matter, the trip was a gift!

      Thanks for that encouragement! (I put that here but it spontaneously jumped up a space so I have to do it again. Never mind, the jumped-up one is also appropriate there.
