Putting On Airs With Table Manners

As promised on 11th Sept

Our date at school we duly kept;

The picnic on Grandparents’ Day,

We did in our upmarket way,

And down our noses looked around

At blankets scattered on the ground;

Our photo it was duly tooked —

And it will show you how we looked!

    The problem with a blanket on the ground is getting back up again, so I’m delighted you managed fix the picnic table, a brilliant idea. Glad it all went well.

    You look grandfatherly enough,
    and I see the table is up to snuff,
    but you’re sorely lacking in foodstuff.
