Merry Christmas, Everyone!
For your bemusement, let me offer what Much Better Half had to put up with by way of a present because the present wasn’t present. This sheet of paper was handed to her:
Now, how did we spend Christmas Day? Traditionally, at home, with guests. Some couldn’t make it at the last minute, sadly, but over-catering never goes amiss.
A hot day so I laid on lots of shade including the gazebo I recently repaired.
I carved the turkey, but the kids did the present hand-outery.
Then further drinks and chatting out in the open on the deck overlooking the sea.

This is the best IOU I’ve ever witnessed! Very clever, indeed! And it appears your Christmas was spent with those you love and much fun. I can’t think of any necessary improvements. π

It was happy, indeed. And Online Buying proved its worth with the delivery, today, of the promised perfume!

I remember my first boyfriend buying me Blue Grass perfume and lotion, but that was eons ago. π³ Great poem, Col. Much better than old fashioned perfume. π

Blue Grass!! Blue Grass? Are you certain that’s what she wanted?

She loves Blue Grass β even used it when we were on honeymoon! And has recently run out of an ongoing supply.

Wow! And I thought Iβd used my perfume for a long time, around twenty years I think. Family buy others for me but they never fit the bill and I always go back to my old favourite!

What is it?
Blue Grass introduction is given as 1989 (a lie!) or more believably 1934 or 1936, So it was around before we were born, and remains delightful and unmatched.

Organza by Givenchy. It was a guess that I used it for twenty years, it feels that long. Iβve just looked it up and it was apparently created in 2004. I must have used it from the beginning and I use it daily. My close friend and former colleague, Alison, once said it smelled so good they should change its name to Orgazma! In our heads the name stuck and now when Iβm asked what Iβm wearing I have to think very carefully before I speak!

Fourteen years is still a long time to . . . announce you’re coming . . . ? with a distinctive scent! π
