Today I met with surgeon; he was brimming with delight;
Results reveal the call he made had been exactly right,
For found within my kidney were the growths of evil type
Now whipped out whole before they spread to other bits of tripe.
And so, the other enemy can now be fought with force
Until my constitution is restored to that of horse;
The only thing to spoil the day that you may plainly see,
Is, as I passed it, a parked car pulled out and into me!
I’ve had no chance for April Fools or other April fun,
But do believe that this will be OK with everyone,
And as for doing ‘Rabbits’, here fresh photo taken live
Reveals the free-range bunnies are continuing to thrive!
How could they not see your red car 🚗! Never mind as everyone has said easily fixed, so happy you were fixed up too.

Very good news from the Doc Col! I am so happy for you. 😊
Are the rabbits ready to bring Easter eggs?

I am so very glad to hear your good report, Leslie! Wonderful! I have truly been concerned for you. I admire your attitude and what appears to be resilience, very much! Now the car…that’s a bummer!

Thank you. I really didn’t need that complication on the eve of eldest daughter’s visit from UK!

Nothing like a cutting remarked at the perfect time. Cheers for that.
Bumping into each other that way is certainly not a desirable way to win new friends. (Oh, the annoyance of the incident and the duration/complications of getting a repair. Much sympathy.)
Nothing like a bunny view – at a distance…(as much as I enjoyed the Australian Rex bunny husband folded to buy after much pleading from child…you know who ended up taking care ion it – and they live sooo long. Free range is so much better…and distance)

Free range in a city still amazes me. Cats and dogs I can understand, but rabbits! Having to get street-wise, cat-and-dog-wise, bird predator-wise . . . well, I certainly doff my elegant top hat to them.

Happy for your good news, Col. Hate it when cars get too intimate with one another. It always has consequences. Love the rabbit rabbits. 😃

When they kiss, the make-up is expensive indeed! Amazing they way those bunnies thrive as ‘ferals’.

I would have preferred the caressing cars incident to be avoided, though!

So . . . like and not like . . . in that order. No preference or comment on the rabbits.

*deeply offended* You are not deeply moved by the street rabbits? Actually, I suppose they are Religious Rabbits. They mainly hang around a church.

I am so happy and relieved for you!

Thanks: it would have been irritating to have gone through that without solving a large part of the problem!

Good news from the doc. Much more important than the car.

Cars are definitely easier to fix than bodies!

You are in amazingly good spirits for someone who just had such “happenings.” Is this an AprilFool’s joke?

Nope. Too late for the April Fool jazz. This is actual stuff going on right now to keep me from getting bored!
