The field cleared for planting another pool liner. That tree in the centre left — actually a jutty-outy branch of the one behind it — can now be removed.
Today was spent mainly in watching
Technician find fault in my line,
Ensuring job he was not botching,
And that my belongings were fine.
He took a long time — let us face it! —
With instruments tracking fault down,
Then finally, cable, replace it,
So back to blogs I go to town.
This meant that my usual excursion
To fleamarket didn’t take place,
But next week will be a reversion
To see if a bargain I trace.
Then final removal of liner
For pool to prepare for one new;
No chance now can happen that’s finer
For taking a tree out first, too.
This tree the pool is overhanging
With berries and leaves raining down,
And also preventing me ‘ganging
Aroond it’ he said, with a frown.
But that will go into the morrow,
The daylight did not further stay,
And it would have given great sorrow
To chainsaw part of me away.
But just before light became dimmer
I managed grass edges to slice
Employing a nylon-type ‘strimmer’ —
Result looks exceedingly nice.
You do have a hard time don’t you?
Chin up Smile 🙂

Good news. Be careful with the strimmer

This morning gave me something to be a jolly side ‘carefuller’ of — a chainsaw!

I do so hope they’ve got it right this time. To wait until 10 or 11 at night to begin has not been funny.
