Dance, Proposal, and Acceptance

Chill! Swirl in beam freely;

Stick to drive through teeming hall;

Kneel before sweetheart; dream can really

Come true with sign to cheer us all!

My own proposal took place in a car parked overlooking city lights; how about yours?

  1. Great job on this, Col! Let’s see . . . I flew to an air base in Mississippi, to marry a boy who was drafted. He was a lunatic; they threw him out. Second time . . . my live-in boyfriend came home one night and said, “So are we going to get married or what?” Trust me, there will never be a third time.

    I cannot remember! We announced the engagement on Halloween night. Other than that it is a blur!
