No rain; humility will grow;
God still listen, only seven round communion plate?
Priest sits, old stories to let know —
A string of wisdom to change where lies your fate?
Though internet would stay,
My e-mails went away
Tried everything to try and get them back;
One tip said an update
Had caused this awful fate,
Suggesting I reverse it for the lack;
No sooner done ‘undo’
The update came anew
So tried paid service to correct the fault;
It didn’t help at all . . .
What drove me up the wall
They then said e-mail them the fault to halt!
No e-mail here, of course,
— I’d told them — was in force,
So this entire exercise panned out
Like bucket with a hole,
To fix which, some bright soul
Says water should be brought in it, no doubt!!
Have you tried accessing from a different computer, your daughter’s perhaps, or maybe a tablet or phone.You may be able to copy the important saved messages onto a memory stick, I almost suggested you email them!
I have a few e-mail servers, one for shopping, one for friends and family, one for WordPress and one as a spare! Not that this helps you! 😀

This was my Outlook that wouldn’t open at all, and as I get 50-150 messages a day it did give a spot of bother!

Hope you’ve got it sorted.

You lost all your emails? Were they on the cloud or local to your machine?
I use GMail, so everything is on their servers (apparently, multiple backups to ensure no loss of e-mails).
I don’t like them mining the stuff for information but I’ve yet to find a reliable e-mail I can keep local.
Anyway, good luck in retrieving it (I wasn’t sure from the poem — because I don’t grok poems — if it’s permanent or temporary).

Fortunately they aren’t lost. Only temporarily inaccessible.
