A gala for today the ends to score;
Though J ducked out with her sore back,
Young R the practice didn’t lack,
And scored two thirds — ‘A’ team attack! —
Which she’s not done before,
Not since the days of yore.

No, this was taken there at the gala. You will note, though, that all kids are safely submerged. Even magnified, those splashes don’t reveal anything.

It was such a pity; J has been showing ever-increasing form lately so we hoped she would be able to build on her Under 8 Champion 2019 achievement.

It is a great pity Les, and I imagine you’re all feeling her disappointment. Back pain is no fun and at such a young age too. Has she had an x-ray?
