It’s really hard to say
What’s taken up my day:
Just sending books away,
And blood tests: an array.
The Author Copies, few,
Are badly overdue;
I needed blood tests new,
For Monday, it is true.
Then fitted some new lights
Down steps, the entrance flights,
So that, in dark of nights,
Won’t tumble from the heights.
The weather, it was cold,
And wet to boot, so rolled
Into my bed, where strolled
Through dreamland, brave and bold.
There was no cause for fear,
For M-cat I had near,
Protecting from the rear
(At buttocks, will appear!)
Go, M Cat! (We have a little cartoon drawn from my daughter when she was studying for her MCAT medical exams)

I Hope they leave you enough blood to keep you alive. 😳 Reminds me of Hancock’s Half Hour, ‘The Blood Donor’, “I’m not walking around with an empty arm for anyone.” 🤣

The be-furred ones do have a penchant for the backs of knees when one is sleeping on one’s side don’t they? 😀
