A few years ago on October 21st, in 1805 to be exact, a little sea battle took place that has become well-remembered, as has the British Admiral involved, one Horatio Nelson. He won the battle but lost his life.
Another thing that happened on this date, but a bit later, was that Younger Daughter was born. She should have been named Horatia, but I wouldn’t want to impose that name on anyone. Anyway, rather fittingly, she chose to have her birthday celebration yesterday at Royal Natal Yacht Club.
I’m confident you made the right decision to avoid the name, Horatia! It wouldn’t compliment such a lovely daughter. 🙂

Indeed! Mind you, according to that painting Nelson had exceptionally fine and sensitive features for a Horatio.

Thanks; R’s was ruined by a little detail called ‘work’ and doctor visits didn’t improve the shining hour for the rest of us . . .

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, and I hope everything is okay.

Certainly are OK by Sheelagh’s reckoning: after having ears syringed she doesn’t have to be treated as an ancient idiot any longer!
I have had yet more meds added — at this rate it will take longer to consume them daily than actual meals!

If the meds are helping then all is good, I think!
