My bed has not been all that well
As from my absence you can tell –
Between the sheets I have remained,
To give it comfort there constrained;
I’ve cared for it ten days or more
(I haven’t really kept a score)
And I have put in care so deep
That all I’ve done is lie and sleep.
I hope it will more lively feel
So I away from it can steal,
And get some stuff more active done —
Just lying round is not much fun.
I hope you are feeling revived and ready to get blogging again.

Thank you. As may be observed, I suddenly became extremely active as from yesterday!

You were missed!
I’m far behind with checking my reader, and I’m doubtful I will catch up, so I’m delighted I spotted you here, and I expect to see you here again soon when those debilitating chemicals have finally left your system. Best wishes, Les 🙂

Thank you! The are at last showing signs of pushing off, so then it should be back to business as usual until the next poisoning session.

I can only reiterate much of what has already been said, but you know that I wish only the best for you.

Laid low by chemo-itis, eh? … hope you are well-er-er-ish-ing now.

Seems crazy to poison oneself just enough to kill the illness and not oneself! Yes, signs of improvement are commencing hence some quick comment catchups.

So you’re sick of being sick,
And had your fill of being ill.
Hope to see you back on your feet,
If not immediatement, then at least toot sweet.

Thanks; I also want pedestrianised
To be on movement plan: revised;
To fix things I am going the right way,
I started Chemo off today.

The “like” is for your return, not your absence. Take care.

Feel like playing judge? Two friends (twins, no less) and I are doing a challenge. The class of one of the twins (a class of 8th graders) gave us three ending paragraphs and we’re each supposed to choose one and write a 1500 words story ending with said paragraph. They are due on Thanksgiving day.
I was going to ask my blog readers to vote on the (anonymously presented) stories but then I thought you might be bored and looking for distractions.
Understand, not asking for editing or anything beyond reading them and picking one, and I’m only doing it under the assumption it’s not too taxing and it being something you might enjoy (meaning, not a chore) and take your mind off other matters.
Again, I can easily do the blog (I like surveys) but if interested, let me know. For that matter, I can do both; a judge (if interested) and a Readers Choice.

thank you for the honour of the offer. I think I am recovering my faculties enough to give it a try, but I do suggest a Reader’s Choice backup.

No pressure. I’ll email you the entries when all are completed. If you feel up to it (and have an interest in it) judge away. I’ll plan on a Reader Poll either way.

I am so sorry. I had noticed your absence and thought you might be ill. Sending healing prayers your way.

Thanks; not so much ill as filled with chronic lie-down-and-stop.
