For the past week it has rained; It has rained hard. It has rained gently. It has drizzled. It has teemed down. It has teamed up with the wind to wreck umbrellas and soak the holders. By the time a car door could be opened, the rain had blown in to saturate the seats. In short, everything is soggy.
Today (make that yesterday, now) most of day was taken up with the second session of Chemo, just after I was all frisky again. Another form of drips.
I suppose this may tend to make me scarce again for a while.
For a continuation of the treatment, I was given lessons in how to use a hypodermic syringe at home, daily. Much Better Half adamantly refused to be involved in any such lessons
At the end of the session, I gave a little jump for joy when freed, to the wonder of other patients and the amusement of the staff.

Unfortunately, they are meant to be. The treatment consists of nearly killing me in order to kill the cancer cells. Such fun!

Yeh, the moustache is sticking around without glue so far. I am tempted to get a false RAF-type handlebar when the crunch comes.

Is the needle intended for home chemo? Do they not leave a cannula in place?

No, a cannula left in indefinitely is not a good idea. Individual jabs it will be.

City dwellers who’ve never seen a snake in their entire life would probably not understand… But I do.
Now since snakes don’t have a moustache, maybe they lost is and thus are raving mad?

A classic example of a bad-tempered snake is a black mamba who has grown too big for his boots. Downright dangerous. Upright dangerous as well!

Oh, it does. One realises that many of the fit and healthy people sympathising now will be deadicated WAY before I am. It is all the luck of the draw.
