SATURDAY CHALLENGE FLASH FICTION 55

–

Kragenhai commented as follows on my Friday Flash Fiction:

I knew you were going to say that!At least it proves that it is pure fiction, but that is as far as the story goes.
Care to write a 55 word story with characters, plot, beginning, middle and end using this lot as a theme?
Bet you can’t!

I can’t resist a challenge …

LIFELONG ROMANCE

‘A tall dark man makes you happy for the rest of your life,’ intoned the psychic.

’I knew you were going to say that!’ Jane sneered. ‘At least it proves that it is pure fiction, but that is as far as the story goes.’

She was laughing at Lofty when the bus hit.
