WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: INDULGE; AND ANOTHER CHALLENGE IN BREVITY.

My response to the Indulge Photo theme:

And now for something totally different, I have tried moving down from 55 words to only 33:

‘For this weekend’s Trifextra Challenge, we are asking for a 33-word response to the picture below. Make what you will of it; there are no rules. Poetry, prose, comedy, drama – just give us 33 words, on the button. Have fun with it.’

This is a clear-cut case

Where someone has dropped his jaw;

No longer on his face

To which it was fixed before,

Nor is there any trace

Of flesh, or even of gore!

  5. Thanks for linking up to Trifextra this weekend. We’re happy to have you on board and touched that you shared space with your family here. (That cat is enormous!) I love that you commented in your piece about the lack of gore. It’s interesting to me that a body, when it’s all stripped away, is actually completely clean and hard. Like something you’d find on a beach. Nice take. Hope to see you back again soon.

    Love the photo with the cat! We have a similar one from when my daughter was an infant, lying next to our 17-pound kitty.
