Haiku Monday as hosted this week by Nancy Hatch features the theme 

(A Twist of ) Fate

 As usual I go for all the wrong sorts of things, like rhyme, humour and wordplay.  The syllable counts are right, though!

 Finger turkey.

Unfaithful digit
Derisively extended;
Gets stuffed – turkey-time!
