THIS WEEK THE THEME ONE NEEDS TO DUE FOR SIDE VO IS BLIEW
I really shouldn’t do another blue theme. I mean, I anticiperatificated it on the 19th
with my acclaimed song, the Doggy Poos on my Shoes Blues, didn’t I? Anyway, if you demand a second helping, here you go …

You feeling blue, or in the pink?
Now, those are sexist terms, I think!
Why should the boys get sorry shade,
While girls, with happy, have it made?
And yet, blue skies mean it is fine;
With pink, bad weather’s on the line;
Pink bird of happiness is not –
A blue one is the one we’ve got!
Sweet violets are a kind of blue,
And sweeter than all roses, too!
Though blues in music are quite sad
Yet The Blue Danube isn’t bad;
So let me finish off and say
The colour blue is quite OK!
My Saturday was spent mainly at the computer clinic, watching worriedly while two of our three computers were operated upon. The thing is, I have been worried (apparently with justification) that the freebie anti-virus programmes aren’t giving safety enough. Frequently one hears of hard drives saying toodle-oo from one of the more vicious viruses in spite of el chippo protection. In fact, after installation of the paid package on mine, it triumphantly dragged out the corpse of a Trojan, Krap e.
I had also somehow lost my Flash Player and it wouldn’t reload, as well as managing to switch all Google-related programmes to Russian. I couldn’t find out how to change that back because I couldn’t even begin to guess what the writing meant, so the best I was able to do was to import a Russian translating programme,
which was not the best way to go. It still didn’t help me with un-Russianing it.

It is nice to have all these things sorted out. Doesn’t it just show the gap between amateur and pro, though!
To finish off with, all five of my Immy books have a predominant colour theme, red, green, violet, yellow, and then blue. This is the cover of the blue one.

Love the book cover. As for computers, I get the heebie-jeebies when they have to go to the clinic. I don’t make back ups often enough. A good antivirus is a good idea though 🙂

Love the blue colour and the blue verse, Col. So sorry you’ve been dogged by tech problems – hope they’re all ironed out soon.

Good to hear that your computers are healthy now. Anti-virus packages can be so expensive but I do think it’s worth it.
I love the book cover!

Used your “What mobster wanting lobster” bit in my latest post – I just found that too hilarious to leave alone. I did give you credit though! Even as I type this, though, I realise I made a horrible mistake and called it Monster and not Mobster. Oh well, too late for sorry’s now. No-one seems to have noticed (yet, anyway) 🙂

Fantastic Immy cover, Col. Hope your computer woes are now over for the forseeable future. I also think “the colour blue is quite ok” too. 🙂

Love the poem, Col. Glad you’ve got your computers sorted out . . . hate when they start spouting Russian at me.

Immy’s looking lovely, and all the Windows virusses is why I would love to trade up to an Apple of some kind. Alas, waaaaaaaaay above my paygrade at this point in time 😉

Almost done as I see you mentioned putting down in bite-sized packages. Hope it will be a simple small bite.

Smashing about the books. Amanda has done a super job with the illustrations and you must be doubly chuffed having an accompanying musical score.
Good stuff. Well done Mr. L. 🙂

Thanks – now it is just the little trick of putting it all together into neat, bite-sized packages!

Well done on the poem for Blue. My word, how ever did you get your computer talking to you in Russian???? Glad you got it fixed. We’d have had some rather interesting posts otherwise 😀

I think I let my Wretched Rodent stray into areas it shouldn’t on the screen, and then clicked something by mistake. Anyway, it suddenly went all Cyrillic on me.
