Here’s wishing all the Hallow wieners
Some gory hot-dog-ketchup scene-ers,
Grown-ups with booze to go with boos,
When screams and shrieks will mean good news;
Real zombies, vampires, ghosts emerging
For peace and quiet will feel the urging,
Not knowing, then, which witch is which,
When real ones are dismissed as kitch –
They all will simply fade away
To be undead another day.

I even scraped out a pumpkin…made soup with the scraped out bit and made a face in my pumpkin…my son would not take it with hime on trick or treat…I was most upset!!

I envy those who Halloween this on an almost universal scale. We have small isolated pockets of it only.

Well done on the really awful Halloween rhyme, Col. I had a bit of “booze to go with boos.” 🙂

I’m really glad that there aren’t real zombies or ghosts but I do believe that vampires exist, I’ve had a lot of experience with them! 😉

Brilliant! Had a good laugh. Just imagining a real witch being terribly upset at being cast off as just another dress up 😀
