Better than fourth-coming (I hope) attractions butting into book announcements.

The book editing/publishing scene is busy-to-hectic, and there is much news to impart. It needs some time in which to do it, but attendant flapping around plus the intrusion, tomorrow, of an all-day swimming gala means justice cannot be done until next week.

Meanwhile, I have mentioned young J’s penchant for finding herself in the Press. I don’t know why or how it happens, but time and again, there she is. She missed out this year on being given a mention for her swimming exploits, but unbeknownst to us until a kind friend provided us with the cutting, she managed to drag mother and sister into another appearance. I was also at the BFG show, but don’t get a mention. In fact, I didn’t even know that their photo had been taken!

Can you believe it, the kids wanted to train today, and there we were huddled in jackets etc. while they splashed in splendid isolation!

Lovely photo of your girls, how could you have missed the photo opportunity?
