Over here Boris Johnson has been re-elected – no doubt Trump will claim the victory as his, an alliance between these two men means the worst is yet to come. God help us all.

It was a no-win situation from my point of view. I actively dislike JC and his ‘pie in the sky’ policies, but then I have no time for Boris either.

Many of my friends who initially voted to remain in the EU voted Conservative yesterday because they wanted an end to the whole farce. Even our local Labour MP dislikes JC as does most of the country. He single handedly lost Labour the Election, or at least most of the seats!
I can’t work out Boris, as the Mayor of London he was good and popular, but now he cannot be trusted!

By all rights, he would be voted out, even with the Republicans being sleaze-balls and all . . . except Democrats are desperately trying to hand him the victory. No viable candidate to speak of (although, that doesn’t appear to be a requirement these days), incredibly stupid promises that even math-addled Americans can see are delusional, and insistance in concentrating on “issues” working Americans don’t really care about, or, if they do, it’s the Right-Wing Nut Jobs and the Left-Wing Nut Jobs.
I mean, I don’t know what will happen, but no matter who wins, I can guarantee the voters are the losers.

Sorry about that. But nothing short of a miracle is likely to stop him. This has become a matter of ideology. Republicans are convinced he is doing good for the country, when he is a moron. And the Democrats (seen from outside are not getting their sh.. (act) together… Sigh indeed…

I’ve started to watch netflix’s WWII series. Though I know that part of history quite well, it always amazes me how the accumulation of bad decisions by politicians lead to disaster. The TrAmp is a war-monger. Not to mention other things… And this is everywhere.
Corbyn in the UK just did not have what it takes to beat Johnson.
In France, the only obstacle to LePen is little Macron who is out of his depth 70% of the time…
